Your chart in love

Enter your birth details. You get your own chart read for love: how you come across, what draws you, how you show affection, what you want, and what the planets in your houses of romance and commitment do there.

The rising sign moves about one degree every four minutes, so this matters more than anything else on the form.

Pick the closest town. A few kilometres makes no visible difference to the chart.

What you get

About fifteen short readings, each of one placement in your chart, written for how it shows with someone you want or love. It is about you, not about a particular person: for two people, see synastry and the composite chart.

Questions

What does a love horoscope from a birth chart read?
Your rising sign, for how you come across to someone interested and the kind of person you turn toward; your Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars by sign, for what you bring, what makes you feel safe, what draws you and what you want; Venus and Mars by house, and any planet in your 5th, 7th or 8th house, the houses of romance, commitment and intimacy; and the aspects Venus and Mars make.
Is this a compatibility test?
No. It reads one chart, yours, for how you love, whoever you are with or not with. To read two people together, use synastry, which reads what each does to the other, or the composite chart, which reads the relationship as one thing.
Do I need my birth time?
For the rising sign and the houses, yes: they turn with the hour. Without a time you still get the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars by sign and the aspects, which is about two-thirds of the reading.
Why Venus and Mars?
In a chart Venus is what you find attractive and how you show affection, and Mars is what you want and how you go after it. The sign each is in says how; the house says where in your life; the aspects between them and the other planets say what else is involved.
