Your chart at work

Enter your birth details. You get your own chart read for work and money: what you want to be known for, how you work and compete, what you do with what you earn, and what the planets in your houses of money, daily work and career do there.

The rising sign moves about one degree every four minutes, so this matters more than anything else on the form.

Pick the closest town. A few kilometres makes no visible difference to the chart.

What you get

About fifteen short readings, each of one placement in your chart, written for how it shows in the working day and with money. It reads the same chart as your natal report from another side, and it holds whether you are employed, working for yourself, studying, at home or retired.

Questions

What does a career horoscope from a birth chart read?
Your Midheaven, for what you want to be known for; your Sun, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn by sign, for how you want to count, what you value and spend on, how you work and compete, where you expect things to go well and where you are careful; Jupiter and Saturn by house, and any planet in your 2nd, 6th or 10th house, the houses of money, daily work and career; and the aspects Jupiter and Saturn make.
Does it tell me which job to take?
No. A chart does not name a profession, and this reading does not pretend it does. It says how you go about work and money, whatever the work is: how you take on a task, answer to whoever is in charge, price a thing, save and spend. It predicts no income and gives no financial advice.
Do I need my birth time?
For the Midheaven and the houses, yes: they turn with the hour. Without a time you still get the Sun, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn by sign and the aspects, which is about two-thirds of the reading.
Why Jupiter and Saturn?
In a chart Jupiter is where you are confident, take the larger risk and tend to overdo it, and Saturn is where you are careful, slow, hard on yourself and in the end reliable. Between them they say most of what a chart says about ambition and money. The Midheaven, the top of the chart, says what you are working toward.
